John received his degree in 1987 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design with a focus on Industrial Technology & Construction from the University of North Texas.
He founded CDA Design in 1990 and has worked on over 300+ Country Clubs, Golf Clubs, Municipal Clubs, City Clubs and Boutique Hotels.
With a proven history of successful clubhouse design and renovations, John is a recognized leader for transforming some of the finest clubs and brands in the United States. John has been featured in numerous publications on Clubhouse and Hospitality design.
​ John was selected to serve on the Advisory Board at the University of North Texas for the College of Visual Arts & Design and currently serves on the Board of Governors and Chairs the House Committee for Colonial Country Club (Fort Worth).
